If you came to this website looking for news stories I’ve written, here’s my journalism bio. My most recent articles are all on my MuckRack portfolio.
I’ve been working for 12NewsNow in Beaumont as a weekend digital content producer since August 2018.
I write breaking news stories and features on upcoming events like concerts and festivals and shoot video to go with the stories. I also update the station’s social media accounts.

I took some classes at Lamar University to develop my news writing while working. I started writing for the University Press in April 2018. You can find these stories at http://www.lamar.edu/university-press in the PDF archives online.

I covered breaking news in Southeast Texas with The Examiner from September 2016 to February 2018.
You can find most of those stories by going to www.theexaminer.com in the digital PDF archives.

Before that, I was the news editor for two years and the science and business editor for one year at my college’s student newspaper, The Scribe, from August 2012 until I graduated in May 2015.
You can find most of those articles by going to http://scribe.uccs.edu and searching for my name, which I’ve done for you over here. When we transitioned our website in fall 2014, not all of the old articles re-uploaded, but you can still find digital PDF copies of older issues on the archives page.
This blog isn’t affiliated with any of these publications, it’s just my personal writing and opinions.
